Our 2 days and 1 night tour to the Machu Picchu citadel begins early, around 3:30 a.m., with transfer from your hotel in Cusco to the exclusive bus station for train passengers. From there, we will board the bus that will take us to the train station in the Ollantaytambo district.
The train trip will take us to Km. 104, marking the beginning of our exciting journey along the Inca Trail. This tour, rated with a physical level of 2/5, is suitable for people aged 12 and up with adaptable physical conditions. It is the perfect option for those adventurous visitors who want to experience the challenge of walking the short Inca Trail instead of the traditional 4-day route, but still want to live the unique experience of reaching Machu Picchu, one of the SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD.
We will get off the train at km 104 to begin our walk. Along the way, we will cross the bridge until we reach the ROUTE 05 entrance control and we will pass by impressive places, such as the Phuyuwachi waterfall and the Wiñayhuayna archaeological site with its Inca terraces. After approximately 4 hours of walking, we will arrive at Intipunku (gate of the sun), from where we will enjoy a beautiful view of Machu Picchu. We will descend towards the citadel to capture the iconic photo and explore this world tourist attraction.
Once our experience on the Inca Trail is over, we will take a bus that will take us to Aguas Calientes, where we will go to the hotel to settle in and spend the night.
This route is a fascinating place in the world, with a surprising geography that is home to various archaeological attractions, landscapes and climates, giving rise to the evolution of a varied flora and fauna over time in our mountains and jungle.

We will start our day early, with breakfast at the hotel followed by a short bus trip that will take us to the Archaeological Sanctuary of Machu Picchu in approximately 25 minutes.
Once in Machu Picchu, we will begin our guided tour of one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World. Its design includes impressive features such as agricultural terraces supported by stone retaining walls and an elaborate hydraulic system incorporating canals and aqueducts for water transport. The citadel of Machu Picchu is only part of an extensive area that extends over more than 35 thousand hectares and constitutes a very important tourist attraction that attracts 1.5 million visitors each year. Its beauty and majesty give it a unique energy.
In the afternoon, we will go to the station to board the train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, we will pick you up to comfortably transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.
