Tour to the South Valley of Cusco
The day tour of the South Valley of Cusco is an unmissable experience that lasts approximately 5 hours. We will explore the southern part of the city, where we will find impressive citadels such as Tipón and Pikillaqta.
We will begin our excursion with pickup from your hotel around 08:00 a.m. Accompanied by our guide, we will head southwest on a trip of about 40 minutes until we reach Tipón, recognized for its agricultural terraces, irrigation systems and Inca architecture, being an important part of the Qhapac Ñan route. Then, we will continue to the district of Pikillaqta, a pre-Inca city in Peru famous for its excellent conservation and historical relevance.
The highlight of the tour will be the visit to Andahuaylillas and its famous Sistine Chapel of America, a monumental monument that houses impressive works of art.
Finally, we will return to your hotel in the City of Cusco around 1:00 p.m., thus concluding our exciting tour of the South Valley.
